Visual ITC
We cannot make claims for the photographic evidence provided here, beyond what is visible in the examples. We will say that the people who have provided these examples are thought to be trustworthy and have no obvious financial or publicity reason to falsify the images, nor do they have the experience or necessary technological tools. Should you require more information, we will be happy to answer questions, and if appropriate, arrange communication between you and the originator of these examples. Orb Photographs We are reluctant to present what are commonly known as orb photographs on these pages because of the difficulty in distinguishing true spirit photography from illuminated dust, rain or bugs. To this time, we have not seen evidence that anyone has found a way to distinguish an artifact orb from possible evidence of the etheric. Face-like features are occasionally found in orbs, but we are pretty sure they are not evidence of the local ghost. (See exceptional examples of such features at Faces in Reflected Light.) Sun or light flares are always suspect, but like dust orbs, will sometimes harbor such face-like features. Because of the difficulty in distinguishing an artifact orb from possible evidence of the etheric, we do not consider such evidence in our research. The only form of orbs that we are able to study are the "string of pearls" moving orbs, and video examples of moving orbs for which there are some assurances that the moving orb is not a bug or something like light reflected from the moving camera lens. This is an area of study that requires extra critical thinking and the willingness to discard possible evidence in favor of not attributing a paranormal quality to something mundane. Photographic ITC and Spirit Photography Video or Photographic Instrumental TransCommunication (ITC)
is a communicating entity using available optical energy (usually
strong light with optical clutter in it, like many patches of shades
of gray or color) to impress an image. "Spirit
photography" is usually a photograph or video that has captured
an entity that happens to be in the scene. |
