AA-EVP members on the Maury Show

The AA-EVP has a forum in the Idea Exchange discussion board where members can post EVP examples containing name, such as this one, that were recorded during Big Circle recording sessions. There have been instances in which members have concluded that a loved one on the other side is trying to make contact via a different member.
 

Please Note: Maury called Lisa the Founder of the AA-EVP. Sarah Estep founded the AA-EVP in 1982. Lisa and Tom Butler assumed leadership of the Association in 2000 and function as Co-Directors.

2009 AA-EVP Conference/Workshops

We are in the process of negotiating meeting and hotel space near the airport in Los Angeles, California for a weekend conference the summer of 2009. The theme of the conference will be “How to Do It” with many successful experimenters showing you their methods of recording for EVP and ITC. Each presenter will also do a live session so that you will learn “How to do it”! Dates will be announced in the October NewsJournal and here

If someone out there would like to help the Association sponsor this conference please contact the AA-EVP. Costs are high and we would like to try to keep the costs down so that more people can attend and learn.

A one day conference on November 8, 2008 titled “The Synchronized Universe—Exploring Communication with The Dead from Electronic Devices to Mediumship,” will be held at The Woodlands, 1 Southwoods Road, Woodbury NY (Long Island) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Woodlands is a beautiful old mansion and the employees have said that there are quite a few departed spirits that frequent the place. The morning session will be co-hosted by the Forever Family Foundation and the American Association Electronic Voice Phenomena (AA-EVP). Guest speakers for the morning session will include Dr. Claude Swanson author of The Synchronized Universe and Tom and Lisa Butler authors of There is No Death and There are No Dead. The Butlers are the co-directors of the AA-EVP and will conduct a workshop on how to record Electronic Voice Phenomena. The afternoon will be filled with a luncheon/fundraiser for the Forever Family Foundation. This will be a sit-down meal with demonstrations from several well known mediums. Research Grants Available

The Helene Reeder Fund is pleased to announce the availability of grants for small and medium sized scientific research projects concerning the question of Life after Death. Grants will be awarded in the range of EUR 500 – 7000 maximum. Research into life after death, should constitute the main objective of the project. Applications in English, to be submitted preferably by email to the HRF c/o edgar (dot) muller (at) comhem (dot) se The Application should include:

·   A detailed description of the project, including the objectives of the project;

·   Methodology;

·   cost budget;

·   timetable;

·   plans to publish the results in some scientific journals;

·   curriculum vitae (résumé) of the applicant;

·   how the applicant plans to report back to the HRF about progress and result;
     and,

·   any other financing than from HRF.

Applications should be received not later than 30^th of August 2007. It is the intention of the HRF to deal with the applications and to make decision regarding the grants by the end of November. Applicants will be notified by email after the decision and the grants will be payable during December. For further information, please apply to the above email address. Concerns with Wikipedia

If you have read the EVP entry in Wikipedia, you will know that the entry is mostly biased in support of the mainstream opinion. We see that many of the entries concerned with personal survival have the same problem. After failing to make the EVP entry reflect the facts, we have decided that the only solution available to us is to educate the public about how Wikipedia is made.
